928 out of shop today. Thanks again Glen for dropping me off.
They put in the PEM chipboard and gave me the stock chip with a tool list and instructions to swap it back should anything go wacky. Made it a whole 5 miles from the shop before the PEM died and car stopped running. Luckily I caught the mechanic just before he left the shop. He stopped and swapped the stock chip back in on the side of the highway in 5 o'clock traffic.
This is the third PEM that has died almost immediately. The stock chip still works fine. Getting very frustrated. Guess the next step is to try a different computer with another new PEM.
