yes i thought about that but my hood is aluminum and i just did not wish to modify it. i do have a stock hood and there is always rhe fiberglass ones. i might look into that in the future. i had considered splitting the flow...some out the top and some out the bottom so that the top opening would be smaller. thanks for looking in!
