Electrical Engineers... Need your input

So "fall" has come upon us. I wanted to get my whale tail done in august but Work obligations pretty much ate all of my time between August and October. Now it's time to move on to an indoors-friendly project: LED light assemblies.

Only thing is, I'm not that educated on where to get electrical supplies.

What I would like to do is get some bread-board or circuit-board material that I will be installing arrays of LED lights to. I will be starting with the rear lights. I want to be able to bend the material to match the curve of the tail-light housing.

What material could I use to do this? I suppose whatever is most naturally weather-proof. Ideally after soldering all of the LEDs onto the board I would use a clear rubberized-spray over the board to help waterproof it.

Any ideas?
