This is true as long as you know what you are doing and okay that reputation. Watching my parents age (93 / 90) I have done some research and it seems that the last thing you learn as a child are "normalizing" social skills and they are the first thing you forget as dementia sets in. Plus, how many of us are blessed with good role models to show us how to gracefully grow old?
62 here. My motto is "don't matter where you get your appetite as long as you eat at home." Seems to have worked well for me for 40 years with the same woman.
