took the car out for 20 miles of various traffic conditions and all seemed well. it was 60 degrees when i was out so it was not hot. temperatures ran at 180 or a bit above. too cool for a real test. oil temperature ran at 190 degrees once the oil had heated. the engine pulls really well even though i just putted...got to break the engine and clutch plate in for a few hundred miles. i can tell that the car will accelerate quickly. a couple of adjustments..program the fuel sender into the ecu so that my gas gauge works properly and develop the heating and defroster systems off the radiator shroud. neither of these will keep me from driving.
