Yes, I'm also an engineer and developer. I usually have one or two projects going on the side; but the experience is very helpful and I work very well with local builders and developers.
Bottom line though is it's "SALES"
Any kind of sales person can be successful, but it's sales.
If you knew my wife you'd know I was a good salesman
