Bang for the buck = carbs. 50mm PMOs are under $5k brand new and will come damn close to perfect from Porsche Mail Order. You will not realize how good they are until you make other necessary changes like compression, ignition, exhaust and mostly cams. To make carbs work the cam has to have a healthy dose of overlap and considerably more lift. You'll need to do all that too with ITBs and Motec. I don't think ITBs will work with the stock brain; I could be wrong.
