After you do, what you are going to do. keep it waxed.
If you tint your varnish, you can darken the entire floor a little.

IMHO, that is a mistake. At the very least, screen it to get all the dirt off the surface for a better finish. We don't wax floors anymore. Around here, it all water base. How much water base do you use for your cabinets or woodwork?
