oh, it is very much 'us vs. them' with mormons. for sure. you hardly rate as being worth their effort. see, they can't REALLY be your friend if you aren't mormon, as your very existence challenges their belief system that they are the only ones getting into heaven. and they do believe that. remember, i moved here from out of state, and was ostensibly mormon at the time (pretty much by default, as the parentals are mormon) and it was the same thing for me. i think i pretty much gave off the vibe, even then, that religion, especially the mormon religion, is ridiculous to me. (no offense to the religious here, this is just my personal opinion. i get that religion plays an important part, even a useful and positive part, in the lives of many. to each their own.)
