Had a neighbor who has a body shop. He found an injured raven (wing) and nursed it back to health. Taught it to talk. They are extremely intelligent and can talk like a Mynah bird (sp). He said that "way back in the day" they would cut that little chingadera that goes from under the tongue to the bottom of the mouth and they would be able to sound almost human.
Used to see them dropping nuts from high up in the trees and breaking them and feeding.
