My '83 had one as well. It was melted and buckled. Possibly glueing it down from the first installation might keep it from looking terrible in the near future, but then if it still buckles its glued to your dash. Too bad... lol Maybe if your car is going to sit in a cold garage this might be an okay idea. There's a leather shop that does 928 dashes. It's like classic9leathershop.com or something like that. Google it.
