You know, it is pretty easy to AVOID being tasered, just saying....
I have met both types, A-Holes & cool ones, had drinks & shot pool with a few buddies who wear a Badge that I'm proud to call Friends..
Only once I have had a A-hole one, on a Sat, we just rented a 9Ksqf shop in the industrial near my office, I had the doors open, was parking some cars and setting up some tools, the phone and power weren't turned on yet (that was scheduled for the following Monday). I walk out of my office, into the shop and a short cop comes around the corner, gun drawn
Ask me what I'm doing, I tell him, we just rented the space and I'm setting up shop, told him to call Pat (the Property manager, who has been there since the 80s, most of the local Police know who she is) he says he doesn't know who she is and that I set off the alarm (remember, no POWER or PHONES
) I point out to him that the power hasn't been turned on and that he must be at the wrong location, offer to show him my paper work & around the shop since I had a few Porsches in there. He radios in, and as we walk outside, another cop pulls up, verifiesmy story, and the response of the short cop was

WTF, I was in my own building, that he entered, without invite or permission & I'm lucky he didn't shoot me
I said, yea, my business partners would be pretty pissed had you shot me in OUR building, so would my family..
A buddy of mine use to own a little Jazz Pub, his Brother is a local cop and many of them would hang out there, so I told them about it, they laughed, knew him and just said he was an A-hole, and that was that..
I have also hung out with Fireman Vinny, another great guy to drink & hang out with, just saying..
