I just bumped into this thread. I own what used to be a 75 S targa Silver Aniversary Edition. For a while I wondered waht that old glue mark in the glove box was, until I found out what the car was! Regretfully, someone in the mid 80's decided to put flares and remove the interior from it, including the dash plaque. When the time to restore it came by, the odds (and funds) were running low to take it back to original. Therefore, a small conversion was done to the car. However, I met a fellow not long ago in my area that has one in PRISTINE condition. He did not know what it was either, just thought that someone had put a plaque in his dashboard! Anyway, here are some pics of both together. Mine is the red one... PS: He does have the correct seats, stored in a bag in his house in order not to screw up the fabric!
