OK, I just did the "sport exhaust" muffler conversion (not the same as the FisterD) discussed above and documented in pictures by FPB111. Fantastic improvement!
As Goldilocks would say "not too soft, not too loud, but just right!" This is the way my '03 C2 should have sounded as it came from the factory. No droning, no annoying resonance, no backfires, just pure Porsche sound. Sounds great when driven in anger.
