I read somewhere that F1 was to be PPV in 2012. Is that the case for the entire world, or perhaps just in Europe?

The economy as it stands with many teams looking for sponsors and the general lack of excitement that seems to be the usual in F1 these days it seems like a recipe for disaster. Do I enjoy watching F1? Sure, but am I going to pay extra to see it - I don't think so.

Does anyone else know what is happening for next year at least on this side of the pond?
