The economy as it stands with many teams looking for sponsors and the general lack of excitement that seems to be the usual in F1 these days it seems like a recipe for disaster. Do I enjoy watching F1? Sure, but am I going to pay extra to see it - I don't think so.
Does anyone else know what is happening for next year at least on this side of the pond?

It already is for US audiences. They're threatening to take it away from BBC or charge them more for rights to broadcast.
Have you noticed a trend to maximize profits for everything in addition to the tried and true concept of accepting paid ads?
FOCA may also want a separate fee for each viewing device (tablet, cell phone, computer, TV, etc.). It would be painful, but I'd suggest a boycott of PPV F1 broadcasts. In fact, let's not stop there. The music industry learned a lesson with their pricing structures. I think it's time for media broadcasters to experience those same lessons.
