Garage
having no idea how to move forward i decided i would be better off to switch gears and do another phase of the project. I finished the body work and decided i would focus on the doors. i test fitted a set of coupe window frames.

a few minutes of dremel work at the front of the window channel and they fit fine.

the cab/targa window rails are dift. then the coupes. i hacked up the cab window holder by removing the big plastic thing on the left of the window rail. it required me to drill out two rivets.

i spent a lot of time sitting in the driver seat looking up at the roof and making vroom vroom sounds.

in the back i welded up the rod i used earlier as a brace and welded it to the inside of the c-pillar. then i drilled down into the parcel shelf and added some large sheet metal screws. looked like this....

being excited about my new coupe...lacking any windows or common sense i drove it to work the next day after duct taping it up at the front. i took all back roads and had a max speed of 35. i got some looks in the parking lot. obviously jealous.
