I heard it reported as he did not put up $100,000 but is subject to paying the $100,000 if he does not show for scheduled appearance.
"District Judge Leslie Dutchcot released Sandusky on $100,000 bail this morning, a price that surprised prosecutors. The bail conditions required Sandusky to merely sign a paper and walk out, stating if he fails to show up in the future, he would have to pay $100,000."
