Major Service - Before or After Winter?

I'm at 39k miles and due for a major service on my 2006 Cayman S. But it's mid-November and I'm very close to putting it away for the winter. To be fair, I'm going over-inflate the tires and put a trickle charger on it. That's it. I'll probably get it out on decent days throughout the winter for drives long enough to truly warm up the car. But that might be once or twice a month. So my question is would it be better to hold off on the 40k service until Spring? ..or should I do it before Winter anyway? I know it's recommended to change the oil before "storage", so I'm leaning toward the later. But my wallet would prefer the former.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
