I once bought a 911 for a few grand more than I wanted too and believed it was worth (it was a bit of a project), since the owner said that if he can't get that amount he would part it out.

I just couldn't accept that on such a nice car and complete car. I have now spent about the same amount "renovating" the car than what I paid for it, but she is a real beauty now and I hope I can keep her for a very long time. People that now see the car often ask: "Is it new?". I hope that I can keep the car for a very long time.

I understand part-outs on rust buckets or wrecked cars. Other than that let's fix them up and keep them running!
