I don't think getting the M sold will be an issue. I think replacing it will be hard. My dad is being stubborn about this too. He wants to sell, but I don't think he has a clue what he is going to buy next.
I suggested a 2011 Sonata, but he says even with 30k on the clock they are too pricey....
