opened up a three inch port on the rear of the radiator shroud and mounted an adaptor for three inch flexible hose. i also ordered a twelve volt three inch bilge blower to move the air along for the interior and the defrosters...if necessary. i will use an on-off switch to control. the blower is specced at 170 cfm which should be more than adequate. i will make an adaptor to split the air to the defrosters. otherwise i have almost 500 miles on the engine and clutch...so the break in period is over. i can only say that 700 plus chp and over 600 ft/lbs naturally aspirated horsepower do not match up well with cold tires and cold pavement. the 425 rwhp of the hotrod 3.4 turbo motor that was replaced by the ls7 is no comparioson in terms of forward movement. and with 75 to 100 pounds less weight in the rear of the car it feels much better balanced...anecdotal seat of the pants feel about the car... i would recommend similar conversions to anyone wanting to avoid the major costs associated with similar porsche flatsix horsepower. and with all forged internals it would be quite easy to add another 100-200 chp with nitrous to the mast motorsports ls7 427....and weighing less than 2400 pounds does not hurt?
