i had weighed my car a few years back and it was slightly less than 2400 pounds. with the conversion i would expect to beconsiderably under that as the ls engine is much lighter, the ducktail is really much lighter than the gt2 tail that i had, i removed the mattre aluminum part cage and associated harnesses, removed the front ventilation system, rennline dash piece, livorsi gauges are featyherweight compared to the vdos, and a couple of other lesser items. i do have sport seats and standard three point safety belts but am considering going to lighter seats such as pole positions. first change i will try to find a set of drive on scales to weigh the car. years ago i removed all the unnecessary items such as the radio, ad, sound pad and most mastic insulation, handbrakes and associated hardware, installed lexan windows exceot for the windshield, fiberglass bumper covers, aluminum hood, 935 mirrors, etc.
