People tell me the best compactor was a rented one. Wackers are the most common and parts are available. Fook me is right, no, fook my guys. Getting the dirt back there is not too bad with wheel barrows, but the steep parts and the stairs is going to be a mofo. I have thought of slurry, but the smart architect spec out soil and he wanted a pretty garden or a vegetable garden there. This inspector is a royal pain the my arse, but I still might shoot slurry a couple of feet then cover with soil. Hope the plants and tomatos grow well with the surry under there. that will eliminate half the work. A rented conveyor belt or some sort have crossed my mind. This is not the first time I was chosen for the most f'k up job site. This one has one thing going for me. It is all down hill. the last one was up. fooking 30 degree+ hill side. We did the interior (all the wood work) of Chemosphere. They decided to have us install the slate floor. That was a lot of humping up because the elevator busted half way into the job. I helped, lead by doing. I am done leading.
