Stijn, I think the priorities you're setting make sense, though I don't think the guns & ammo should require a great deal of attention / resources invested. The ROI isn't all that great. Putting money into your house is generally a good thing. Since you already have a daily driver, a second car for fun use is frivolous right now.
You shouldn't be so gloomy...things will slowly improve, even if only at a snail's pace.
