Let's face it, a 1911 , ammo, and a Dillon press makes for peanuts compared to a 911 Addiction..
I'm mentioning it as a joke really. My focus is my house.

Disposable income.. I can dispose a lot of income in a variety of ways.
But if my income falls 5 years from now,i don't want to have to regret not having done my best to insure myself for that possibility.

If i spend 10 K a year on a 911, at best i will have a 911 in 2014..
I will not have done much to improve my house, my finances will definately be in a pisspoor state of affairs.

Now if i spend 7 K a year on the house & the mortage, and 3K a year on guns
I will
A have had quite some fun at the range
B not stretch my finances, on the contrary
C be much happier for it.
D be in a much , much better position in life, with more disposable income if my income doesn't change, or with enough margin to take some hardship if my income does change.

Really, a 911 does not make any sense in my position, at all.

These last 3 years i have
Bought the house, with land
Changed all windows to double High effiency glazing
insulated the roof to more then recommended value
placed enough solar panels to kill my electrical bill close to 0

all those things pay off right away.
and they will keep paying off for the next 20-30 years


Next , 10 K on my mortgage, will nett me 5 year & about 24K profit down the line.
