I posted a thread a while ago about looking for a beater. I finally got sick of looking at cars on craigslist and other places that were mislabeled or not described properly. Thus, I upped my budget to 5k and I'm looking at E39s, such as the 528. I feel that E36s are probably more likely to be beat on.
If I don't get a beater, my next car will likely be a Z3 M Coupe in a few years. Preferable with an S52 and in red or white.
