So this weekend a friend and I went up to San Jose to do some dirt biking at Hollister Hills and visit our friend at SJSU and crash in his dorm room. Getting on that campus takes an act of congress but anyway....
Saturday night after riding we came back and met up with him to walk around San Jose and find some dinner which turns out to be a massive undertaking but the funniest part by far was when we finally just said screw it and walked over to a what turned out to be a sports bar. We took a look at the menu and all agreed it was fine I was really hungry at this point so I open the door and before I even get a foot in some big black dude holds his hand out towards one of my friends and says no slippers in reference to the sandals he was wearing.... We all just started laughing our asses off since the restaurant portion was empty and the bar area was nowhere near as crowded as the multitude of bar and grills we had passed earlier.
Thinking back most of the places we passed had bouncers two or three of them, I guess it's just a college city thing, I don't know it all seemed strange to me but not letting someone in because they're wearing sandals when you clearly need the business
