Is there any place in the world that demands coat and tie these days?
I remember taking a group to the Box Tree Restaurant in NYC years ago. They would only accept cash or personal check for payment, kept the front door locked and you could only get in w/ a reservation. By the time dinner was over, they wanted my party of eight GONE! Offered us the use of a private room as the guys got a little rowdy.
I paid the bill, basically emptying my wallet and we got the hell out of there. Oh yea, you had to have coat and tie to get in the front door.
Those were the good old days.
