I haven't gotten past the constant sex with Hermosa Beach hotties part. For some reason I keep re-reading that part. Are we going to have to get to some boring monogamous relationship trifle later in the story? If so, I'll stay on page one.

Okay, I am a jerk. Sorry. Annette is, possibly, the real deal. Vicki is a hottie but there's some reason why you never took it past a weekly beer in a dive, and there is some reason why such a hottie is still hanging out in a dive every Thursday night. It might be vaguely interesting to know what either reason is, but it is unlikely to be productive enough to blow what might be more than vaguely interesting. There are tens of millions of hot girls out there, in some bar within a mile radius there are several who make Vicki look like an old maid. Guaranteed. Chasing them all down is a supreme waste of time.

There, that is my advice, from a guy who did his share of chasing but is now happily in year 20 of the only marriage he'll have.
