This question has drifted off track a bit (911 handling joke),as said engine in rear - engine in front ,its just so different.
Porsche has spend HUGE amounts in design money taming the tail heavy 911 since the mid1960's to the current models.
I'am not running down these cars , the 911 is a legend car I just like 944's and am lucky to own one.
