Every year, the folks where I work put together food baskets for thanksgiving and give em out to local families who otherwise would do without.
The food in the baskets add up to just over $100 each and this is strictly an employee thing. Not company sponsored.
This year we topped the old record and put together 93 baskets and the people who received them were very grateful, some were in tears.
Kinda takes away some of the guilt from having it so good year-round and taking it for granted.
