I've never seen any of them since I don't watch TV but there is no doubt that there has been a seismic shift in the way that female news reporters are hired and a corresponding shift in top career choices for really hot-looking young women. Once in a while I'll watch a sporting event on TV at a bar or someone's house and I can't believe my eyes when I see the female sports reporters. It's like they were cast from the commercial dept. of a modeling agency. Mind you I'm not complaining, it's just a new-ish trend in recent years. I went to journalism school way back in the dark ages, (1980s), this was definitely not happening then.
It's certainly nothing new to try to hire attractive women for on-camera work but the best you ever got in the old days was a cute weather girl or an on-scene reporter who was easy on the eyes. Now we have absolute knock-outs interviewing people or reading the news. Most of the pictures on this thread portray nice-looking women but not actress/model beautiful, more like midwest wholesome types. Not so with the chick in the first post. She is actually beautiful in the way that normally would lead to a mega-buck modeling career, (if she's tall enough), or a serious run at an acting career if she has any talent. Hell, even if she doesn't. Women who look like that try to act all the time with the talent of an empty soda can. Wow...
