I've owned a '99' and current;y own a 06--both base models with manual trannies.
39K on the first when traded on the 06; the 06 has 38K on it and no issues; none were on the '99'. The '99' was autox'd extensively; the 06 has seen 6-8 track days/year since new. Again, no issues on either.
