BTW, does anyone have pictures from the Wednesday nights on Van Nuys Blvd from back in the day? Would love to see some and it might make for a good thread of its own. We all have some good Van Nuys Blvd stories as well…

I went to Erwin Street elementary school with Johns brother Curt. I think the Mom was Linda. Used to go to the Teen Center to race BMX bikes on Victory. Another friend Leo Firpo and I used to hang at their house on Margate off of Hazletine, Last I saw Curt was building a small block Plymouth Arrow, John I think also had a 911. I have not seen the brothers since August of 1990. What ever happened to them? John was into road cars, Curt into street/ strip cars..thats where the link was amongst a lot of friends who got into drag racing.
