I've got an older video card in the desk top and watching anything on youtube it's rather jumpy or fragmented.

My wife played a music video on her phone and a movie for me and it was so clear , like watching TV .

My question is are cards much faster today than a few years ago ?

(I'm not a computer dude,I'm lucky to cut and paste)

I would be nice to watch video in real time.
