One of my 2.4 cases has 3R and 4R halves, while the other has 4R and 5R. I think it is quite normal.
I'm still awfully worried about you starting that engine without tearing it down- all that water most certainly caused corrosion and heavy oil sludge. Have you at least pulled the sump plate to see what lurked in there?
How did you clean your plastic stacks? They look great!
