I pulled the sump plate and found sludge but otherwise the metal that I could see in there was in really pristene condition.
As for the stacks I just used foaming engine degreaser, It worked like a charm. It only took me about 30 minutes to get them that way. The throttle bodies on the other hand took my 5+ hours.
