Thanks all. The call went well. I didn't get much extra, but I don't think there was much left on the table to get. I think Shadetree hit the nail on the head. And frankly, the offer is not bad. There are actually lots of little perks. It already comes with 4 weeks of vacation. It's a salaried position but if I work over 40 hours I get OT at 1.5x. Then of course, there are also several other perks.
The important thing is that I've learned a bunch from all of you. I have more experience including experience with an unusually difficult situation, and I still have a job.
