hah! I laughed out loud reading that.

I would put the first five or so seasons of MASH up against anything ever done, movie or tv. The general rule is any episode before BJ grew his mustache.

Interesting that I'm finding Morgan's passing to be affecting me a fair amount as I ponder it. Some of us of a certain age were likely "raised by TV," so this death is more than just "some actor."

I can remember MASH being on Tuesday nights. My dad had to go to Carlsbad city council meetings every Tuesday night for years trying to get a new smokestack approved for the Encina power station. Or at least that's what he told my mom . At any rate, with dad not home and my mom grading papers, there were many hours where it was me and the TV. MASH, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart (the original one) - they were essentially part of the family.

RIP Harry.
