Sudden death.......

Sounds like a main fuse blew. Do the easy/cheap thing first and check all the fuses. If they are all good, check out the relays. You might find that there is a fuseable link somewhere in the system which would be another possibility. Check the batteries with a volt/ohm meter to make certain they are both good. With 133k on the clock, you might also have a bad alternator. At 130k on my Porsche I found that the stator was almost worn thru. Good luck!

At least you had an excuse to drive the P-car!
