I have a '41 9N with a back blade.... works good for the first snow, but once you get a set of frozen banks down each side of the drive and the snow drifts across them, the old Ford without tire chains struggles. In recent years, I have been mainly using a 4 wheel drive Polaris with a front mount blade which is a bit better than the Ford after the first snow. When large areas of drifting occurs, I usually end up getting out the old Melroe/Bobcat from the 60's and use the bucket to "shovel" the snow.
Plowing three driveways takes me under an hour, but on occasion I "day-dream" about buying an old jeep to use strickly for plowing.
