Hi,

I know it's not the US, but I had to ship some computers (ALOT more expensive than a 911 motor) across Canada. I used a shipping Company (I think they were called Rodair) that came in looked at the Computers took measurements, then showed up the next day with a Custom built wood crate. They took that Computer(s) , put a sealed bag around them, then placed them in the box, put in another bag and filled it with foam (that hardened) that formed to the shape of the computer. They did the thing in minutes. So the computer has a custom made stryo enclosure around it, then they screwed on the crate lid.

I bet this thing would drop off a train without breaking (well maybe not, but It was tough).

The cost of shipping air across Canada was expensive, but so was the cargo.

Just a though for you, maybe try a shipping Company to see what they can offer.

Good Luck
