Its just the nature of eBay and them owning PayPal. Been so long but when Paypal just started I was onboard very early (under 10,000 users) and used it in a small commerce site. Had some volume moving but nothing significant. Too funny now when I think of it but they were so pleasant to deal with, elevated me to some stupid status and get this, sent me a PayPal t-shirt!

Now back today with them on another account for some ebay stuff, only this time I was forced to sign up and then too had all these stupid obstacles. I called them... criss crossed the globe in phone calls with supervisors from Punjab to Cal. and they eventually lifted the restrictions. I honestly don't even recall what the deal was but the sweet sounding American female gave sympathy and it was done. Also, somewhere on this board, a link was posted for all the numbers, emails of Paypal employee desk to pres, including some home addresses. Not sure if its still a valid link up but I grabbed it and saved it for future use.
