Dude, I'm no MD, but that's not a good thing for anyone. I was actually on the verge of getting med'd for the exact opposite. My max pulse was WAY higher than it should have been. Always has been. Looked down at my HRM once when I was 17 doing a small town bike race, hit the last straight away and hammered it.......247bpm
