I would recommend going back to the more period correct cookies or maybe finding some fuchs or fuch replicas in 16s. The rims above look very late 80s, early 90s - 928ish. Perhaps you can find some good tires to keep that great feeling. I went with Yokos S drives in a 15 and they seem to have plenty of dry grip.
