i recently had a similar problem with my 78 930. i had replaced the clutch and pressure plate as well as the flywheel and throwout bearing...all new stuff, greased properly and adjusted to spec...but the clutch would not fully release.. replaced the cable and rebuilt the pedal cluster with bronze bushings, etc. still would not fully release and could barely get into gear. finally removed the engine and returned the clutch and pressure plate to KEP. it was a stage two setup for the ls7 conversion i was doing. turns out the pressure plate diaphram had a crack in it and the clutch would not release parallel to the flywheel and was dragging on one edge. KEP replaced the pressure plate at no cost and i was soon ready for the road again.
