I have read all the instructions both here & many other forums about the removal of the electrical portion of the ignition and also opening front hood w/ donor battery. My key is stuck and won't quite go into position "0". Battery is run down. I tried the jumper cable to fusebox trick to open frnt hood w/no success. Must the ignition be in "0" position for this solution to work??
The alternate method of finding and pulling the emergency cable behind the drivers side headdlamp sounds the easiest. Are the plastic brads which hold the splash protectors in the wheel well "snap-in" or threaded? HELP PLEASE!
