You might consider a HTC Evo View. I have seen them down around $220.00. 7" screen, magic stylus and lots off cool. It is only a single processor, but at 1.5GHz will surf the web and eread like no one's business.
I do have an iPad and a Gtablet. The iPad is easy to use. The gTablet was 1/3 the price. It works fine. I would seriously consider the HTC at this price though.
