That's the big issue with my dog door. The floor in front of the door needs to be cleaned 3, 4 times a day unless we limit the use of the door. I've gotten to the point where I only allow access during certain hours.
A SawsAll should make whatever kind of hole you need in that door. You may need to reinforce it around the perimeter of the hole.
